Strength, Speed & Agility Training
Training programs focus on skill sets and fundamentals for each sport. These include the 9 Focus Areas of the M.A.D. Sports Training platform. Sessions vary from 30 minutes to 1 hour. One-on-one and group sessions are available.

This program will improve your athletic performance through proper conditioning for your favorite sport. Sport Specific Training is not a type of training which teaches you how to play your sport better, but an instructional and interactive training that teaches you how to condition your body to perform at an optimal level to improve your sport performance. Not only will you benefit from the use of strength and conditioning techniques, but you will also learn how to prevent injury through safe and effective training. Your session will include such training methods as:

Our program recognizes and improves the rest of your body's strength to assist your arm. With a combination of core movements, lower body development, and rotator cuff strength and flexibility, achieve greater velocity and quicker post game recovery.

Our unique bat speed program includes condition techniques to train your body from the ground up. With a combination of flexibility, plyometrics, core training and a mix of hitting specific strength movements, you can achieve quick hands and increased bat speed.

With our comprehensive speed and agility program you'll learn how to make efficient explosive movements towards fielding the baseball and improve your base running skills with a variety of multi-planar movements, plyometrics and flexibility.

Nutrition is more than just what goes into your mouth; it's also how your body distributes those nutrients to assist all of your physiological systems in performing daily functions and how efficient your distribution process is. In athletes it is even more important to have a basic understanding of nutrition for an active lifestyle.

With our nutrition program, we will assist you in putting together a nutrition plan that will help you to achieve your fitness goals. Stay on track to achieve results in all areas, whether it be weight loss, improved endurance, or gaining muscle mass.

Since everyone's goals are different, our one-on-one sessions are designed to give each player the individual attention needed to improve their basketball ability and take their game to the next skill level.  Sessions focus on identifying weaknesses and developing strategies and drills in an individual workout that will improve and punish each weakness while strengthening existing abilities in order to meet individual goals.  Sessions are intense and the player is pushed hard to accomplish their goal of improving their skill level.


From defense to offense, the player is evaluated and given instruction so they can progress and improve. Sessions are personal and designed to take the time allotted to improve that player’s skill level and develop confidence and consistency in their abilities so they can advance in the game of basketball, and meet their personal basketball goals.

Boxing Training Focus:

While we are not a boxing gym per se, we do offer training aspects of boxing you'll find in any boxing gym in the country. Why? The core fundamentals of most any sport - speed, core strength and agility - are found in the basic training used in boxing. Boxing exercises are ideal for weight loss, body toning, endurance, and are an excellent stress reliever.

ESPN rated boxing #1 out of 60 sports as the most demanding of all sports/exercises.
Click here for the report. Boxing exercises are key to helping gain lightning speed, explosive power, and agility, improving your strength, endurance, and conditioning. They also reduce likelihood of injury through better flexibility, stability, and joint mobility.

We do have sparring equipment (gloves, hand pads and padded body vest) available, as well as punching bags. Short of a ring, we can extensively condition the athlete to prepare himself or herself for the ring or cage.

With a staff comprised of several ex-college football players from Division 1 programs, we know what it takes to become the essential football player on any level. From the Pop Warner kid to the NFL veteran, we have successfully trained hundreds of successful football players over the years.

Football is a sport of power, strength, speed, endurance and finesse. Our training methods will target each of these aspects of the game, whether it's a 1-on-1 or group session. Of all the sports, the need for resistance training in football is probably the most obvious. Conditioning programs and exercises for football must be sport specific, and that's exactly what you'll find at M.A.D. Sports Training.

Unlike most other sports, football players can benefit from working harder and heavier during both the in-season and the off-season. For the college or pro football player, it's often a 365 day regimen. However in-season training with it's added emphasis on injury prevention can greatly differ from out-of-season training, and M.A.D. Sports Training recognizes this, and compensates the training content to cater to the specific needs.

Although there are a few very skilled positions in football, overall, each player must be strong and powerful. Every player should have short term speed at least and every player must have superior coordination, particularly in the legs. The skilled positions required endurance and hand eye coordination as well as proper development is specific areas of the body.

Every player will benefit from an overall, full body conditioning program. This type of program prepares and maintains the muscles for the short, 100% intensity required to play the game. Depending on the position you play, other very specific exercises must be incorporated at some time in your program. Your M.A.D. Sports Training instructors are skilled in these positional exercises, and will safely help you reach your potential.

Soccer Skills and SAQ

o   30 kids per session- 15 SAQ, 15 ball skills for 45 minutes each.
o
   1.5 hrs per session
o
   $75 per session including t-shirt

   There will be three time spots:
o   5:00- 6:30 pm, U9-U10
o
   6:30-8:00 pm, U11-U12
o
   8:00-9:30 pm, U13+
o   Dates are to be: January 22, 29, February 5, 12
o
   The camp will be split up according to age and ability
 
Camp Description

o   Soccer specific speed and agility training focusing on change of direction, acceleration, deceleration, balance, proper running techniques, plyometrics and ACL prevention.
o   Soccer skills to include Brazilian ball work and mastery of moves and skills under pressure.  Emphasis will also be placed on first touch and small sided games.
