The NFL Combine Preparation Program was designed with one objective: to elevate status of an athlete through superior performance during the NFL combine testing. The performance at this event is dependent upon a comprehensive, preparatory-specific conditioning program, which targets strength, speed, agility, quickness and mental faculty in a stressful weekend of exercises and tests.
Moving up or down in the early stages of the draft can mean a difference measured in millions of dollars. The combine is a three day interview with the NFL, and there is no such thing as too much preparation.
We offer a top flight atmosphere for getting superior results! Our elite level environment provides better mental and physical conditioning to attain a dominant performance increase and improvement of draft selection. Our athletes simply out-perform the competition by staying focused, cool, calm, and collected with the confidence of knowing that they are trained and have fully prepared in the training process.
Our Combine Preparation program is a 6-7 week program that enhances each athlete’s speed, agility, quickness, strength, power, core stabilization, balance, while improving their overall football skills.
Each athlete is assessed at the beginning or the program and each program is tailored to the needs of the individual athlete. In addition to addressing perceived weaknesses to eliminate any doubts teams may have, we also focus on enhancing the player’s strengths.
We can also steer you away from the pitfalls of banned substances, and to the supplements and nutrients that will help give you the performance edge - safely.
Judd Granzow and his staff have successfully trained over 30 NFL draft picks that have gone through the combine, including 1st rounders DeAngelo Williams and Bobby Carpenter. OK, so now you've gotten that big payday through a top-round draft pick from the combine. Now what? With 1,200 NFL positions available each year, it is an elite athletic accomplishment. The reality is there are ten times that number each year coming out of college wanting one of those NFL spots. They don't call it the "Not For Long" league for nothing.
Judd and the pros at M.A.D. Sports Training are the experts you'll need to help you stay injury free and extend your playing years. The goal is to improve your sports performance to get at the specific demands of the sport. For football, those are short, high-intensity spurts. You explode for eight to 10 seconds, then you rest, then you go out for another play. We work the different energy systems that allow you to do that. In football, that means training the anaerobic energy system, keeping the muscles, ligaments and tendons stretched, and building functional strength without adding unnecessary bulk that may slow down the player.
